London's hospitality workers attended the HospoDemo protest in Parliament Square on Monday 7 December.
The capital’s chefs, tour guides and waiting staff were among those campaigning against what they call ‘repressive’ Tier 2 coronavirus restrictions. Many of London’s restaurants, bars and hotels have been hit hard by the economic impact of government measures to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
The demonstrators, including workers from Islington's Mikkeller bar, also called for additional financial support from the government.
